Our first Skiing Is Believing (SIB) event is Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Whistler Olympic Park. We’re looking for volunteers to help us make this a great day for everyone. If you're keen to join us, please fill out this form.

Every winter, Nordic Racers hosts SIB events for people with physical disabilities to try cross-country skiing, whether for the first time or to improve their skills. This season, we're hoping to add fun learn-to-race and biathlon activities. And as an added bonus: Phil M will be holding a mini-workshop on sit-ski fitting and equipment adjustments.

If you're new to volunteering for our SIB events, that's OK, we'll pair you with another volunteer for on-the-job training to get you start
