Nordic Racers organize at least two weekend trips per season to loppets in South Western BC. Accommodation is arranged and posted on this website, and carpooling is our mode of transportation

We solicit members to volunteer their time to organize trips (mainly accommodation). If you are interested, please contact any of the club executive with the trip you would like to plan and your accommodation will be compensated in exchange for your work.”

Price includes ski-in/ski-out accommodation on the mountain, gorgeous houses with hot-tubs, comfy beds and full kitchens. There will be a super-fun banquet Saturday night with dancing afterwards, and this year at the newly renovated Town Hall which can accommodate 140 guests. We carpool to keep our costs down, and bring our own food for breakfasts, lunch and one or two dinners depending on how many nights are booked. Additional costs for ski lessons will get you tuned up for the coming season. Please choose which group you would like to join:
A. Beginner - for those who have never skied or are in need of reviewing
the basics. Choose either Classic or Skate.
B. Tune Up - for those who can ski but need a season refresher.
You get to select which techniques you would like to Tune Up
* CL - Double Pole & Step Double Pole
* CL - Diagonal Stride
* CL - Tune up - review a bit of everything
* SK - Offset + Parallel Turns
* SK - One Skate/Two Skate
* SK - Tune up - review a bit of everything
Mix and match what technique you need up to four sessions.
Each session is one hour long, allowing time to switch gear.
C. Fitness - for those not as concerned with technique and drills but would
rather do a-hour 2 continuous ski and get pointers along the way.
Select from (1) SK both days, (2) CL both days or (3) SK one day &
CL the other day.
REGULAR PRICE (November 2 - 21 when registration closes):
$250 for Friday & Saturday
$350 for Thursday, Friday & Saturday
$105 for classes, Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 - 11:30, includes two day trail ticket.
$45 for banquet ticket only (if you are NOT staying in our houses)

Looking for something fun to do Family Day long weekend? There are no loppets happening this weekend so come join us at Sun Peaks for some great skiing and fun times. Sun Peaks boasts having “sunshine and the prefect elevation for dry snow and consistent temperatures”. En-route you can ski at Manning Park and Stake Lake skiing three awesome venues in 4 days. We’ve booked Epona Rise Retreat Centre, a 15 minutes drive to the ski trails at Sun Peaks. Epona Rise is on 80 acres, has a beautiful guest lodge and cabins that sleep two people to a room with no bunk beds! Checkout the accommodations at eponarise.com. Stay tuned for sign up info. Ski one of the most beautiful Nordic venues in B.C., Nickel Plate. Located near Apex Ski Resort (outside of Penticton), this high elevation venue is renowned for its fine dry powder and reliable conditions throughout the season. You’re welcome to join us for a truly a great ski experience even if you’re not planning to do the loppet – there are 56 km to ski.
